The world is broken, messy. Because of one decision, every single person who has ever lived, and will ever be, struggle with God’s love. Many do not even know about God and His love for us. Even though Adam and Eve had to leave the garden and could not live forever, God had a plan to redeem all Creation and bring us back to Him. He knew it would cost Him dearly, but He will go to far lengths to show each person His love. So, our Story is not finished yet.
“…the snake saw his chance, he slithered up to Eve. ‘Does God really love you?’ the serpent whispered. If he does, why won’t he let you eat the nice, juicy, delicious fruit? Poor you, perhaps God doesn’t want you to be happy.’ … And a terrible lie came into the world. It would never leave. It would live on in every human heart, whispering to every one of God’s children: ‘God doesn’t love me.'”
The serpent told the Woman, “You won’t die. God knows that the moment you eat from that tree, you’ll see what’s really going on. You’ll be just like God, knowing everything, ranging all the way from good to evil.”
