Forget Me Not

I did a thing. I bought seeds. The seeds whispered promises of Forget-Me-Nots and Daisies and Helichrysum. They breathed hopes of hues bringing joy to the yard.

I planted the seeds, and the started to grow (to my delight!). The seedlings were transplanted and continued to grow. Then one day…a tiny little purple bud. Oh the joy!

This may not seem like much to you, but I tend to kill even cacti…few plants have lasted more than 2 weeks with me. I always felt bad when I was given a plant as a gift!

So, I am happy to present to you: my first plant from seeds. The first to sprout and the first to bloom. One of my favorite flowers – the Forget-Me-Not!

{Springbrook} Uninvited

I needed to to reconnect with the One who knows how to breathe life and love back into depleted and dead places. Jesus doesn’t participate in the rat race. He’s into the slower rhythms of life, like abiding, delighting, and dwelling — all words that require us to trust Him with our place and our pace. Words used to describe us being with Him.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in your, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 15:7 NSAB
