It was a joy to celebrate Amanda and Jeremiah’s union in August.
It’s been a month since these two were married. I can’t imagine a happier wedding to attend. The long drive, the pain, and the snow were well worth it to celebrate with Kayla and Zach.
Let the party continue! Laughing at toasts.
Wedding painting surprise!
S’mores and games and a beautiful evening outside, with beautiful music and conversation inside.
“I think he forgot he was looking for me.” The trials of hide-and-seek at a wedding reception.
The evening ended with Big Bro singing a song over them and dancing.
Waiting for the festivities to start was fun, with plenty to see and do, or wrapping up in a favorite blanket to keep warm.
And of course, napping!
My cousin Kris got married in May. The whole day was beautiful. I loved both of her dresses, and all the meaningful things that were done throughout the day were superb! This is one of the few pictures I took from the day, during toasts at the reception. Kris loves her family so much and it was evident with how she and Austin put so much thought into what would be them AND what the wide range of guests would enjoy. They spoiled us all! It was hard going back to work and PBJ sandwiches after the whole weekend of such GOOD food!
Kris’s mom, my aunt, made most of the decorations and worked so hard to make them simple and elegant. She highly succeeded! Crave catered the food and everyone was so friendly! One of the waiters went over and above filling up water and was by every 5 minutes to give me a refill! That’s hard to find… Chenoweth Floral & Greenhouses did the flowers. Dad and I made boxes for centerpieces and they were completely simple and elegant when Chenoweth was through with them!
With weddings come gifts. Hence…a gift opening party, the day after. 🙂 Beautiful decorations, tasty food, funny kids and lots of laughs made this a fun afternoon!
As the wedding day carried on, it was time for the ceremony to start. This day had so many special moments, but I think one of the most wonderful moments was when Rob and Kristin washed each others feet. I’ve never seen a foot washing at a wedding before, but this day it felt so sacred and special and WOW.
Prayer was woven throughout this wedding. The effects were felt and seen in every detail. While Kristin was getting ready, the guys sat on the porch and prayed. Then brother helped brother straighten those ties. I have pretty great cousins!
